The Elks of Cheyenne was founded in 1901 and have been a part of Cheyenne since. The lodge building, at the corner of 17th and Central was built in 1902.

What do Elks do? Isn't it just a bar? The answer is a resounding NO! The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks is a charitable community organization dedicated to helping those in need in our communities, our state, and through out the United States. Elks lodge 660 is very active in youth activities, the local VA, and with families and children in need. Some of the organizations the lodge supports are Stride, Cheyenne Extreme, and youth sports. The lodge supports many additional charities and organizations.
